2001 siteROCK, Contract Art Director
Assumed all design and production responsibilities from external agency resulting in cost savings of over 200% with no corresponding drop in production quantity or quality. Worked directly with the CEO, V.P. Sales, and Director of Marketing Communications.

• Led complete website design and content revision.
• Designed and produced sophisticated sales support presentations, fundraising presentations and marketing collateral.

1999 - 2000 Newfront Productions, Creative Director
Responsible for design and production of all print and online materials. Recruited and managed design and programming teams. Managed execution of strategic partnerships with Hasbro Interactive’s Clue Chronicles, Simon and Schusters’ Nancy Drew, Agatha Christie Ltd., and HarperCollins Publishers. Directed design and project managed creation of 350+ page website in partnership with Agatha Christie Ltd. Scope included content creation, structure, navigation, design and
original illustrations and artwork for Agatha Christie’s Tuesday Club Murders.

MysteryNet.com
Directed complete redesign of site, including structure, navigation and design. Managed and completed project on time with very limited team and extremely tight deadline.

MysteryClub.com
Directed design and project managed creation of a new subscription mystery site, including identity, structure, navigation and design.

1995 - 1999 Digital Chef/Tavolo, Creative Director
Established look and feel for company, in both online and traditional media, from inception through $80 million financing. Reported to CEO and Vice President of Content. Recruited and supervised sophisticated design and production teams including: Art Director, Graphic Designers, Photographers, Digital Post Production Artists and HTML Programmers.

• Led design and production of site structure, interface and graphics four times in company’s evolution from professional content site to consumer e-commerce site. Interfaced with management, editorial, marketing and engineering teams.
• Developed and implemented systems for extremely high volume photography and post production for retail products, recipe and editorial content, and advertising and promotions.
• Directed design and production of identity, print collateral, promotional materials, trade show booth, 4-color print advertising, and banner ads.

1993 - 1995 GuestWare, Creative Director
Worked with founder to pioneer development of Multimedia Computer-Based Training (MCBT) courseware for the hospitality industry. Hired and supervised creative team.

• Designed courseware interface, specified photography and graphic requirements, directed photo shoots (including sourcing and scheduling of models, props and on-site locations), managed production
• Developed Microsoft Access database application for photo specification, model and location scheduling, production status and archiving.
• Designed and produced company identity, print collateral, promotional materials, trade show booth and print advertising.

1991 - 1993 Silicon Valley Restaurant Group, Art Director
Reported to Founder and CEO of this restaurant development company.

Designed and produced identity, print collateral, promotional materials, menus, signage, print advertising and interior design/remodeling projects for corporate and restaurant units.

1988 - 1991 U & M Productions, Founding Partner
Design, Production, New Business Development and Account Management.
